Hi, my name is Abigail Florence, a visual storyteller and seeker of the profound within silence and artistic expression. I’m a multi-skilled South African Creative. My unique skill set encompasses roles as a director, decorator, designer and artist.
I am a certified art facilitator, social entrepreneur and the founder of Scribble Meditation™, a healing art intervention that promotes Peace of Mind for All.
Drawing from a diverse background, I have explored South Africa’s creative landscape over two decades. I have found joy in the interplay of color, line and texture, shaping spaces and experiences with an eye for beauty and harmony.
My journey has been a deeply personal exploration of what I have come to call the “Art of Nothing”.
Creative Process
Scribble Art is my unique artistic style developed through my creative process called Scribble Meditation™. The Scribble Meditation™ process reconnects you to a space without thoughts or thinking. Residing in this silent space is meditative, playful and fosters freedom, pure creative expression and inner peace.
My process is rooted in silence, where the absence of thought allows for colours, lines and shapes to flow freely. With each stroke of the pen or brush, I invite observers to explore the depths of the human experience, where silence becomes a gateway to the infinite and the beauty of existence itself.
I believe in the transformative power of art and meditation to heal, connect and bring peace to individuals and communities.
Artist Statement
Each Scribble becomes a meditation on presence, a visual echo of peace emerging from chaos. Through my process, I seek to dissolve boundaries between art and spirit, doing and being, sound and silence.
My invitation is simple: pause, breathe, and enter the stillness between the lines — where nothing becomes everything, and we remember what it means to simply Be.
My Only One Collection
Each artwork in my Only One collection originates from my Scribble Meditation™ process and is designed to be experienced.
At its core, this body of work explores the relationship between art and wellbeing — how simple visual and sensory engagement can create a sense of safety, grounding, and presence. In homes and private collections, these works become silent companions: holding space rather than demanding attention.
Each artwork is both deeply personal and universally accessible. There are no symbols to decode, no narratives to interpret, and no right or wrong way to engage. The art meets each viewer where they are.
What matters is not interpretation, but resonance.
For collectors, they offer more than visual beauty: they offer presence, process, and purpose. Each piece carries with it the energy of its making.
Whether placed in a lounge, bedroom, office or private collection, these artworks are intended to live with people — to be returned to, breathed with, and experienced over time.
My Only One collection is an invitation to experience art not only as decoration, but as a quiet act of care.
You are welcome to email me directly at info@abigailflorence.com should you be interested in working with me on a specific project or becoming a collector of my works of art.
I look forward to sharing my heart with you.
