Artist’s note:
This piece felt like breaking through a cloud layer into brilliant sunshine. Floating bands of electric chartreuse and lemon yellow sweep diagonally across sky blue, and hanging in the centre are delicate, watercolour-like blocks of soft pink, coral, and cerulean. No heavy anchors, no hard boundaries — just an open, weightless field of light. The word that came was Liberate. – Abigail Florence
