Artist’s note:
This piece felt grounded the moment it was finished — deeply tied to something older than me. Muted ochres, sandy yellows, rich terracotta, and deep forest greens, all cut through by a jagged river of slate blue. It looked like a landscape, a map, or weathered stone seen from above. It doesn’t demand attention. It holds it.  – Abigail Florence
