THE COLLECTION

Only One

Absolute Exclusivity

THE PREMISE

Every piece in this collection exists only once.

When it is acquired, it is gone – never reprinted, never reissued, never made again. This is the meaning of Only One.

THE NAMING

Each piece carries the name of a felt state – Reconnect, Soften, Liberate, Restore. The name is not a description of the artwork. It is an invitation from the artwork.

THE PIECES

Currently available.

Scatter cushion covers | signed | R3500 each.

HOW A PIECE COMES HOME

Each piece is packaged with a small certificate of singularity, and dispatched within South Africa and internationally on request. A note from the artist accompanies every acquisition.

COMMISSIONS

Occasionally, I accept a private commission – a piece made in response to a place, a feeling, or a moment in a collector’s life. Enquiries are considered individually.

The book that holds the practice behind every Only One piece. Many collectors keep them side by side.

ORIGIN

The Practice

The silent process from which these works emerged.

DISCOVER THE PRACTICE

A QUIET LETTER

Receive a quiet letter, occasionally.

A scribble. A thought. A new piece, before it arrives in the collection.
No frequency. No noise. Only when there is something worth saying.
